Nivea have just launched a very handy new two-in-one hydrating primer to help keep skin perky whilst creating a smooth base to keep your makeup in place all day. The product contains effective hydrating ingredients including Glycerin and Butylene Glycol which are know for their powerful moisturising properties to support skins hydration levels. The primer comes in two skin type variations - Dry and Sensitive or Normal to Combination.
The Dry and Sensitive formula contains almond oil to help nourish and soften, and calendula extract to soothe and calm the skin. The Normal to Combination version contains Lotus extract, a popular anti-oxidant ingredient known for its revitalising properties. Both formulas have a light, cooling gel-cream texture which absorbs instantly, meaning you can put your makeup on straight away. The primer also comes in a luxe feeling glass jar which is amazing considering the RRP is £4.99.

I filmed a couple of short videos with Nivea explaining more about the Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer and there are a couple of skincare and makeup tips in there too!

I just want to say that I'm a huge fan of you, I always see all your videos and I love reading your blog. You are my faaaaaaavorite blogger!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely looking forward to the Nivea express hydration primer.
Great job!
xoxo you fan #1 (=
Were you really on your way to work? I saw these videos from Fleur as well and I think they're actually painful to watch. I adore your videos and blog but I'm going to have to stay away from things like this, honestly, those fake videos about pretending to be on the way to work are actually painful to watch.
ReplyDeleteOf course not :) it was filmed by Nivea as I say in the post and they came up with the scenarios in which to use the tips, same as any ad-type video really - and that's also why it wasn't uploaded onto my channel. x
DeleteSound like a nice product and these videos are really cute! xx

Just stumbled over those vids. Compared to your own videos these seem not a very good idea. Maybe if one doesn't know your normal style, one doesn't notice, but in comparison they aren't believable thus for me not a good PR-idea.
ReplyDeleteSorry. I love your own vids but will now look twice before I watch those sponsored thingies as they're like bad milk.
Haha these videos were cringe...
ReplyDeletePlease only agree to these if u genuinely like the product, if you didn't that didn't come across.
You are one of my favourite bloggers/youtubers for your honest, intelligent reviews and good taste. You appear quite uncomfortable in these sponsored videos, perhaps showing that they're not in line with your channel's ethos (hence them not being posted there)? I agree with the above Anonymous; cringe.
ReplyDeleteDear Meg, thanks for replying to my comment above. Wasn't sure how you would take it but just wanted to let you know how cringeworthy I thought they were. I still love your videos so will continue to watch but just won't watch these type of things. X
ReplyDeleteHello lovely, just watched these - I think you did such a good job! This would make me so nervous, so really well done and I think they were great. I didn't actually know about the dual primer/moisturiser things - and believe me, I have to get ready for work in around half an hour so that would be handy!
ReplyDeleteIgnore 'cringe' comments - being filmed like this is, quite frankly, utterly terrifying. You did such a good job. Xxxxxxxxx
I've tried this Nivea Express Hydration Primer but have had mixed results. I found the cream worked well as a moisturiser, but the primer didn't stay put :(
