June

1.6.12

Happy June!

The sun is/was out so I've finally been craving some colour. I have the H&M sandals in black but I think I need to go back for the orange and coral pair as they're only £9.99 and really comfy. To be honest I had a hard time narrowing down the items for this month, there are so many lovely things about, those River Island jeans are a somewhat wearable pattern, non?, and don't even get me started on Zara.

Anyway here are some favourite songs of late -

Grizzly Bear - Shift (alternate version - there is another version on the Horn of Plenty album, but you might recognise this from the film Blue Valentine...with Ryan Gosling.)
Alpine - Hands (Weird video...like they handed out crazy pills in an American Apparel factory.)
Eric B. & Rakim - I Ain't No Joke (This is in my motivational essay writing playlist...no joke.)

As always I hope you have a good weekend and a great month. x

  9. I love everything on your list, except I probably wouldn't wear the printed jeans but that's just because I'm not daring enough!

I also have a question for you: How do you create these kinds of collages? And do you just get the pictures off the internet? I'd love to do something similar.

    1. You could use photoshop to piece together stock images by creating different layers and combining them all together. Hope this helped!

  14. OMG! THE SANDALS!!
Excuse my disproportionate excited-ness, but I haven't bought sandals for years as every single pair ever made falls into two categories. They either have a huge heel and are therefore completely impractical or I just don't like them.
These are flat! And I like them!! I'm cured!! Thank you for showing them, I'm running out to buy a pair first thing tomorrow morning. (Again, I'm not usually that excited)

  16. The print on those jeans is awesome! Reminds me of Dries van Noten or Stella McCartney. I wish they were trousers and a bit looser, though.

  18. Can't believe how cheap the sandals are! Desperately want them- I hate sandals that has something between the toes.

I got into Caribou because of the bf, they have quite nice summery chilled vibes.
