Yes I know, more NARS. But they are fast becoming my favourite makeup brand.
This little beauty is my first eyeshadow from NARS and, thus far, I'm very impressed. Despite the quite pronounced lines on my eyelids (I'm going to be a very wrinkly 30 year old at this rate!), I didn't have any issues with creasing or fading when worn over MAC's Painterly paint pot (my primer of choice).
Described as a shimmery lavender-grey, I'm finding Lhasa is a perfect shade to wear all over the lid - particularly when paired with a complementary matte purplish-taupe like MAC's Copperplate. It is quite sheer but very easy to build and blend which makes it ideal if you're looking for something a bit different but still easy to wear in the daytime.
Whilst I'm sure the colour isn't that unique (swatches of MAC's Shale seem similar but it's nothing like MAC's Satin Taupe as I first thought) it isn't a shade I had in my collection and it's a very welcome addition.
Lhasa has been released with the Spring 2012 collection but I have read it will be a permanent addition to the single eyeshadows.
